You can check a state's estimated LLC processing times without an account. The checker does not ask for your name, email, company name, or filing documents. Analytics and advertising tracking are currently disabled.

HowLongToLLC is operated by Startupsole LLC. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Startupsole LLC.

Your state selection

Choosing a state changes the estimate shown in this page. It does not send a search request to us, a state agency, or a formation service. We do not save a history of your selections or submit a filing for you.

Your browser loads a shared data file from our site and periodically checks for updates. State changes use that downloaded file; your browser does not contact Corporate Tools or check an application with the state.

Storage in your browser

To restore your result when you return from another page, this tab temporarily remembers the last state you checked in session storage. It keeps one state code, not a selection history, filing data, prices, or estimates. It is cleared when the tab session ends. If browser storage is blocked, the checker still works, but you may need to select your state again.

You can clear site data through your browser settings. The checker still works if browser storage is blocked.

Analytics and cookies

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are not running on this site. We do not load their scripts, set analytics cookies, record sessions, or save advertising click identifiers. A Northwest referral link is available after a filing estimate is shown.

If we enable analytics or change how this site uses tracking, we will update this policy to explain the actual tools, information collected, and available choices.

Hosting and technical requests

Cloudflare serves the site. Delivering a page involves processing technical information such as your IP address, the requested address, and browser request details. Cloudflare also processes information to operate and secure its services. Its handling of that information is described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

We keep operational records of scheduled data updates, including success, failure, timing, and data coverage. Hosting diagnostics may sample technical request traces to investigate errors. We do not record your state selections or keep click logs. A state selection within the page is separate from requests needed to load the site and its shared data file.

Northwest referral links

If you choose the Northwest link, our site redirects you through Awin to Northwest. The referral includes the selected state and a reference identifying this site and the link placement. Awin and Northwest receive your visit and may use cookies or other tracking under their own privacy policies. We do not load their tracking scripts when you view an estimate. We may earn a commission if you purchase through the link.

If you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any information you choose to include. We use that information to respond and handle the request. Please do not send Social Security numbers, payment details, passwords, or filing documents.

We keep correspondence only as needed to deal with the request, maintain necessary business records, or meet legal obligations. We do not use support messages to build advertising profiles.

Sharing and external links

We do not sell personal information. Our hosting and email providers may process information needed to deliver their services. We may also disclose information when required by law or to address fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

When you follow an official source or another external link, you leave this site. The destination receives your visit and applies its own privacy policy. We do not control what that site collects.

Your choices and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Contact us to make a request. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you before sharing or changing information.

There is no account or saved filing history to delete. No internet service can promise complete security, so share only what is needed for your request.
