HowLongToLLC is a free reference for estimated LLC processing times and available filing options from Corporate Tools. It does not calculate your approval date.

Using the site

HowLongToLLC is operated by Startupsole LLC. These terms govern your use of the site and form an agreement between you and Startupsole LLC. In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Startupsole LLC. If you do not agree to them, please stop using the site. You do not need an account, and we do not charge you to use the checker.

What the checker covers

The tool shows Corporate Tools catalogue information about ordinary domestic LLC formation: processing estimates, available filing methods, state fees, and listed conditions. We are not a government agency, a law firm, or a filing service.

Information on this site is for general reference, not legal, tax, or financial advice. Using it or contacting us does not create an attorney-client relationship.

We do not submit documents, reserve a name, track your application, or decide whether a filing will be accepted. Preparation, delivery, corrections, and other work outside state review are not included in the processing information.

Estimates are not a promise

A displayed duration is a provider estimate for a filing option. It does not tell you when your own LLC will be approved.

Workloads, service availability, fees, and filing requirements can change. A recent record is not a guarantee, and missing information does not mean zero days or no fee. The refresh date is when we last successfully retrieved the data. It is not the date on which the provider changed its estimate.

Expedite services may have channel restrictions, cutoffs, prerequisites, or separate charges. A displayed state filing fee is the total state fee for that option, not the extra expedite charge. Provider service fees and other services are excluded. Faster review does not guarantee approval.

Before filing or paying a fee, check the relevant state source and confirm the requirements that apply to your documents. Use a qualified professional if you need advice about your situation.

Source and other websites

Filing-option data comes from the Corporate Tools catalogue used by Northwest. The available options are limited to that catalogue and may differ from other filing channels. Read how this works for the source, refresh policy, and fee scope.

Links do not imply an endorsement. External websites have their own terms, privacy practices, fees, and conditions. After you view an estimate, we may show an optional Northwest filing-service link. We may earn a commission if you purchase through it. You do not need to use that link to see the estimates. Provider service fees are separate from the state fees shown; confirm your full order price with the provider.

Content and data

Corporate Tools data and other third-party materials remain subject to their applicable rights and terms. We do not grant a separate data redistribution license.

Our original site text, design, and code are protected where applicable. Apart from rights granted by law or an identified license, ask for permission before republishing those materials. Do not present this site as an official government service or use its identity to imply our endorsement.

Reasonable use

Do not disrupt the site, bypass security controls, attempt unauthorized access, or use it for unlawful activity. Do not make automated requests at a rate that interferes with access for other visitors. These limits do not restrict rights granted by applicable law.

Availability and responsibility

We provide the site and its information as available. We cannot promise uninterrupted access, error-free content, or suitability for a particular filing. We may correct information, change features, or stop offering the tool.

To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties about the site's accuracy, availability, and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or business opportunities, arising from use of the site.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits consumer rights that apply to you.
